The woman who says she was subjected to months of unwanted advances and inappropriate text messages from an aide to House Speaker Mike Madigan says she complained in February of 2017… but nothing happened for months.
Alaina Hampton says she ultimately left her consultant job with Madigan’s political organizations to avoid future contact with Kevin Quinn.
Some women’s advocates are now calling on Madigan to resign for what they say was an inadequate response to the situation. Quinn has now been fired… a year after Hampton’s initial complaint.
