An Army veteran who is fighting cancer has gotten a welcome surprise… the gift of a refurbished van big enough to carry him, his wife and their five children.
Herbert Crawford was lacking suitable transportation as he continues his treatment for cancer, but has now received the full-size van that was previously used by the Interveterans Burial Detail.
Staab Funeral Home arranged for new vehicles for the burial detail, and Zara’s Collision Center restored the old van for use by the Crawford family.
Noonan’s True Value, Qik n EZ, and Diamond Residential Mortgage also donated gift cards to help the family with gas and other needs.
