The Sangamon County Coroner now says the death of a 54-year-old Springfield woman does not appear to be foul play.
Arlene Poole was found injured in the 1600 block of East Miller Thursday afternoon, and police initially described her death as “suspicious.” But after an autopsy, Coroner Cinda Edwards says there is no indication of foul play.
No cause of death was specified, and Edwards says additional test results are pending.
