Springfield police have arrested a suspect that they say entered a North End home and battered three elderly people inside. Police were called to the home on Arrowhead Drive Saturday night and found the victims… an 88-year-old woman and two 92-year-old men.
All three said a man entered the home and beat them. They were treated for head and facial injuries but are expected to be OK.
Detectives say the trail led them to 27-year-old Victor Puckett of Springfield. After he was interviewed, he was arrested on charges including home invasion, aggravated battery and theft.
