J.B. Pritzker says if he’s elected governor, the term “right to work” will be abolished in Illinois. Pritzker told campaign volunteers in Springfield over the weekend that Governor Bruce Rauner has been attacking organized labor and seeking to undermine the ability of unions to represent workers.
During that same stop, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin said Rauner has targeted state workers specifically by leading the fight against “fair share” union dues… a fight that has now gone all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
