Former Illinois lawmaker and one-time WMAY talk show host Jack Davis has died.
Davis served in both the Illinois legislature and the U.S. Congress representing the Will County area. After retiring from politics, he relocated to Springfield… where he began a new career as a talk show host, where his experience gave him unique insight into state and federal issues.
Davis had battled dementia in recent years.
He died at home Sunday surrounded by family. He was 82
