A District 186 assistant coach has been arrested on charges of groping and sending inappropriate messages to a female teenage student.
21-year-old Matthew Pittman was arrested after the girl and her parents went to police. They say Pittman touched the girl in a sexual manner and sent sexual messages and images to her phone and on social media.
Police say he’s charged with aggravated battery and harmful material.
