Silverstein One Signature Short Of Being On Ballot

A bad week for State Senator Ira Silverstein has gotten worse. After initially finding that Silverstein had barely enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, an inspector now says he double-counted one signature… and two others have now been disqualified.

That leaves Silverstein one signature short of the number needed to get on the ballot. The hearing officer will issue a new recommendation this week which could determine whether or not Silverstein will get the chance at another term
