Congressman Darin LaHood is calling for more caution before a controversial memo is released publicly.
LaHood has said that he thought the public should see the memo put together by GOP Congressman Devin Nunes, which reportedly outlines abuses by the Justice Department and FBI in the Trump-Russia probe. But the FBI has expressed concern that releasing the memo could compromise sensitive intelligence information.
Appearing live on WMAY, LaHood said he has full respect for the FBI and says their concerns deserve to be heard. He also suggested that the Nunes report might be rewritten to make sure it doesn’t reveal info that should be kept secret.
