Neither of the Springfield area’s congressman was on board that train that was carrying Republican member of Congress to a retreat when it struck a garbage truck in Virginia.
Spokesmen for Rodney Davis and Darin LaHood say neither one of them made the trip. House Speaker Paul Ryan and others were on board the train but were not injured in the collision.
