A Cook County judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought against Governor Bruce Rauner… and ordered the dispute to go before an arbitrator.
The plaintiff is a former business partner of Rauner’s… who claims the governor is trying to grab a bigger share of a multi-million-dollar investment.
The plaintiff’s lawyers criticize the ruling, and say Rauner is trying to keep the case out of public view. The lawsuit’s allegations have raised questions about Rauner is truly removed from decisions about his business dealings, as he has claimed.
