
State officials are issuing some new warnings in the wake of news that a potentially dangerous bacteria could be present in the pipes at the Capitol Complex.
Final test results won’t be back for nearly two weeks, but in the meantime, officials are recommending some steps to protect against contracting Legionella, which causes Legionnaires Disease.
They recommend using only a “pencil-thin” stream when washing hands, and also suggest not using humidifiers or nebulizers for the time being.
