A Springfield man is facing charges related to prostitution and human trafficking. Springfield police say they arrested 43-year-old Marcus Rouse after an investigation that started last month.
He’s accused in several cases where women were recruited into prostitution under his direction.
The charges include promoting prostitution, involuntary servitude, trafficking persons… and one count of official misconduct. Rouse is being held in the Sangamon County Jail.
