U.S. Senator Dick Durbin had a front-row seat for the latest firestorm surrounding the Trump White House… and he says Trump did in fact make comments that Durbin considers “vile” and “racist.”
Multiple media reports say Trump used vulgar language to describe Haiti and African nations and questioned why the U.S. should admit immigrants from those countries.
Durbin says Trump’s remarks have jeopardized the chances of getting a bipartisan deal on DACA and other immigration issues.
