An Illinois Catholic priest is charged with possession of child pornography and meth.
Father Gerald Hechenberger was arrested after detectives… acting on a tip… found both child porn images and drug paraphernalia at Holy Childhood Church in Mascoutah, where Hechenberger is associate pastor.
The bishop of the Belleville Catholic Diocese says there is no evidence that any parishioners were directly affected by Hechenberger’s actions.
