Marijuana Pilot Program Will Be Made Permanent, Says Dispensary Official [PODCAST]

The head of the medical marijuana dispensary in downtown Springfield believes the medical marijuana pilot program will be made permanent in Illinois in the next couple of years.

And Chris Stone of HCI Alternatives predicts his and other existing dispensaries could become the first businesses to legally sell recreational pot if the state allows it in the near future.

On the WMAY News Feed, Stone said established medical marijuana dispensaries would be best equipped to work out any issues with sales to the general public and after that, additional dispensaries could be brought online as needed.
