More financial disclosure from Illinois politicians… and more push for government consolidation… are among the items on the Better Government Association’s 2018 wish list.
The BGA… which is WMAY’s watchdog partner… says it is hoping that the legislature will work toward more transparency and efficiency in the upcoming session.
The group says it will also monitor the 2018 campaign and hold candidates accountable for their statements and promises.
