The cold snap that has a frigid grip on Central Illinois is turning even more dangerous.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill warning from Sunday night through midday Tuesday. Wind chills could reach 30-below zero during that time… cold enough to cause frostbite on exposed skin within 10 minutes.
If you’re going to be outdoors for New Year’s festivities or other events, make sure you’re dressed appropriately.
