Big money is on the line for this week’s multi-state lottery games that are available in Illinois.
Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing is worth at least $337 million to a single winner, who could take the prize as a lump-sum cash option of $210 million before taxes. No one matched all the numbers in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing, so the next one Friday night is worth $306 million, or you can take $191 million in cash.
Odds of winning either prize are right around 1 in 300 million.
