
Illinois’s congressional delegation stayed right with party lines in Tuesday’s U.S. House vote on a sweeping tax overhaul.
Every member of the state’s GOP delegation voted for the bill, including local congressmen Rodney Davis and Darin LaHood.
And all of the state’s Democratic member of Congress opposed it in the House. Democratic U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth also oppose the Republican plan.
