Springfield hospitals are tightening visitation policies as flu season arrives in earnest.
St. John’s and Memorial are asking people showing cold or flu symptoms to refrain from visiting, and are recommending children under 18 stay away.
The hospitals are also providing masks and hand sanitizer to reduce the spread of the bug.
