Gaming Parlors Will Continue Splitting Profits With Terminal Operators

The owners of video gaming parlors in Illinois must continue to split profits evenly with the companies that operate and maintain their gaming terminals.

Some parlor owners had sued, saying they wanted the right to negotiate their own deals with terminal operators… or even to own and maintain the gaming machines themselves.

But a Cook County judge says those requests are not allowed under current state law. The plaintiffs plan to appeal.
