A final push is on to encourage you to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act before the upcoming deadline.
This Friday, December 15th, is the cutoff for the current signup period. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin is one of the officials urging people who don’t have coverage to take advantage of the opportunity… despite fears that the GOP tax reform plan being debated on Capitol Hill could lead to changes that would drive up premiums and potentially force millions off their insurance.
More than 95-thousand Illinoisans signed up for coverage during the first four weeks of the enrollment period.
