
A federal lawsuit accusing former state Treasurer Dan Rutherford of sexually harassing a male staffer has been dismissed, but the case could be refiled.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Rutherford is also still facing a separate lawsuit from other staffers who claim they suffered retaliation when they backed up the original complaint.
Rutherford has continually denied the allegations, but the explosive claim derailed his 2014 campaign for governor.
