As Illinois prepares for another major bond sale, the Rauner administration is offering words of caution to prospective buyers.
Rich Miller’s Capitol Fax reports the bond sale documents say that there are no assurances that the state will pass a budget next year… or in future years.
The disclosure documents also declare that the state has a big structural budget imbalance… and the administration cannot say when or how that problem might be addressed.
