Two local teams will be playing for state football championships on Thanksgiving weekend.
Rochester continues their perfect season with a win over previously unbeaten Highland… and that will put the Rockets into the state Class 4A title game against Morris Friday night.
Pleasant Plains is also advancing to the Class 3A title game Friday and will face Elmhurst IC Catholic. But Athens was eliminated Saturday with a loss to Tuscola.
